Sweet almond oil is extracted by pressing the kernels of the almond tree. This carrier oil is refined and has a light golden colour and a subtle scent. It has great moisturising properties and is a very fast absorbing oil. It is a great source of vitamin E, which is great for skin care and hair care.
You should always dilute an essential oil with a carrier oil before applying it topically to your skin. This helps to avoid irritation caused by the natural properties of the essential oils and reduce the risk of experiencing an allergic reaction.
